A few things I learned this week

Man, I can't believe how long it's been since I posted, I feel bad. Well, I'll just move forward and try to be more consistent.

I was recently watching an a few episodes of Hak5 and learned about a linux command that I had never heard of before. The command is

  xinput list

This will list all of the input devices attached to your system. The context in which this command was used in the show was to deploy a prank payload to an unsuspecting user, by disabling their keyboard for a predetermined length of time. The output will display something like this

Some additional commands

  --enable device
Enable the device. This call is equivalent to xinput --set-prop device "Device Enabled" 1
  --disable device
Disable the device. This call is equivalent to xinput --set-prop device "Device Enabled" 0

Here is a little something fun to check out Windows93
